ABOUT
Sheryl Leventhal is owner of Sightmap, an Internet consulting company specializing in strategy,
design, implementation and training. She has been an entrepreneur in the high-tech
industry for more than 20 years, and enjoys the challenge of helping establish products, companies,
and web sites in this unique industry, as well as training others in its use and
potential.
Her training background includes developing classes, materials, and conducting classes training on a regular basis. Software classes include the full Microsoft Office Suite, Database applications, Photoshop, Web-building applications, Desktop Publishing, Movie editing software, and both Windows & Mac OS proficiency. She also teaches others how to develop, design and maintain their own Web Sites and Newsletters.
Her experience includes:
- Shipboard IT trainer for Princess Cruises;
- Internet Coordinator for 3M, Austin;
- Creative Director for Amicus Networks (a financial services web development company)
- Instructor at Austin Community College, University of Texas, and Motorola University;
- Private classes for IBM, Motorola, Dell, Barnes & Noble University (online) and other corporate clients.
Fun Facts
An adventurous traveler, Sheryl has been to all seven continents, logged over 500,000 sea miles, circumnavigated the globe, and been at both 71° N. and 62° S. latitude. She has run with the bulls in Pamplona, and tried Wing Walking just for the fun of it.
She received her BA from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
